Princess Diana

Diana Spencer better known as Princess Diana was born on July 1st, 1961 in Sandringham (Norfolk-England). Diana Spencer married Prince Charles of Wales on July 29, 1981 in London. Diana had two children, Prince William and Prince Henry (Harry); family was very important to the Princess. Princess Diana died in a fatal car crash on Sunday August 31, 1991. She took her role as patron of the English National Ballet, the Leprosy Mission and the British AIDS Help seriously. She was the president of the Children's hospital Great Ormond Street and the Royal Marsden Hospital. Many awards which were given to Diana include the acceptance as Honorary Citizen of Northampton and the "Prize for Humanity". She also collected a great amount of money in order to do a great deal of good. She auctioned her most beautiful dresses in order to help cancer sufferers with the proceed. She was one of the most active people in raising money for the AIDS foundation in her country. She spoke to and comforted innumerable sick, poor and lepers. She fought for people who had been victims in land-mines. Princess Diana's legacy will forever live, she loved many and was loved by many.

"The worst illness of our time is that so many people have to suffer from not ever being loved".
